Your membership fee is good for the remainder of the current calendar year. If you join in October or later in the year, your membership is good for the remainder of the current calendar year as well as the following calendar year.
For those who are able to give a little more, Friends of Frontrunners is a membership level that includes all the perks of a Standard Membership and helps us sustain our mission, events, financial aid, and more! All Friends of Portland Frontrunners will be recognized at our Annual Meeting and receive a Thank You from the board. It’s because of our Friends of Frontrunners that we are able to offer financial assistance or scholarships to members, coffee after every Saturday run, donuts at our SOLV Clean Up days, and more.
As a member of Portland Frontrunners you will get a monthly newsletter, voting privileges to help shape the direction of the club, access to occasional Nike/Adidas store passes, discounts on non-PFR running events, a 10% discount at Portland Running Company and Foot Traffic, access to the club’s Heylo and Strava groups, and invitation to members-only events.
To help reduce the financial barrier for individuals wanting to join the club, we offer subsidized full memberships for those experiencing financial hardship, students, seniors (over 65), and active military members. Please fill out our Charitable Giving and Financial Aid Request form. Personal information will be handled in the strictest of confidence. You will receive the same benefits as the Standard Membership.
Members are required to be familiar with and adhere to Portland Frontrunners’s Code of Conduct. (ADD LINK TO COC)
Buying a membership for a friend, loved one, and/or arch nemesis? They are required to review and accept the club’s waiver and agree to adhere to the Code of Conduct policy. As such, you can not sign someone up on their behalf. However, you can gift them a membership (INSERT LINK) which they can redeem on their own.
